About the Author
Michael Delaware is a Realtor in Battle Creek, Michigan. He has worked for Troxel Realty Co. LLC since 2006. He was awarded the ‘Realtor of the Year’ Award in 2010 for the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS®. He serves as President of the Board for BCAAR in 2011.
Before he became a local Realtor, Michael worked both for his church, as well as a local business that remodeled houses throughout Battle Creek.
Prior to moving to Michigan in 1999, Michael owned and operated a successful Stained and Beveled Glass company in Roswell, Georgia, which he sold in 2001. During the 15 years he was with the company, he was very active in his 
local community, serving as both vice president, and two years as president of his local area merchants association.
This involvement in the daily concerns and activities of this association allowed him to work with the city to build up a prosperous business and shopping district in this North Atlanta community.
Today, Michael lives with his wife Margarita in Battle Creek, Michigan. He is an active volunteer with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program in community, serving as a Big Brother. He also is an amateur photographer, and actively blogs about Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan.
